Editing or Canceling a Payment in Bill Pay
Need to make a change? Bill Pay gives you the flexibility to edit or cancel a scheduled payment anytime before it’s processed.
Editing a Payment
You can update a scheduled payment up until it begins processing, ensuring your payments go out exactly as intended.
Option 1: From View Payments
From the “I want to” dropdown, select View Payments
Locate the payment you’d like to edit
Click the edit (pencil) icon
Update the payment details as needed
Click Save
Option 2: From Scheduled Payments Panel
Locate the payment in the Scheduled Payments panel
Click the edit (pencil) icon next to the payment
Make your updates
Click Save
Canceling a Payment
You can cancel a payment anytime before it is processed. This is helpful if plans change or a payment was scheduled in error.
Option 1: From View Payments
From the “I want to” dropdown, select View Payments
Find the payment you’d like to cancel
Click the Cancel Payment icon
Click Yes to confirm or No to keep the payment active
Option 2: From Scheduled Payments Panel
Locate the payment in the Scheduled Payments panel
Click the Cancel Payment icon
Click Yes to confirm cancellation or No to keep it active
Important Reminder ⚠️
Payments can only be edited or canceled before they are processed. Once processing begins, changes can no longer be made.
Helpful Tip 💡
If you’re unsure whether a payment has processed yet, check your Scheduled Payments—if it’s still listed there, you can still make changes.
