Resolving a Transaction
Resolving a transaction means adding a note explaining why a transaction was voided. This helps provide documentation for communication and auditing purposes.
Once a transaction has been voided, it will appear in the Voided status. From there, you can mark the transaction as Resolved and record the reason for the void.
Steps to Resolve a Transaction
Log in to the application and go to the Current Transaction Summary on the Dashboard.
Select the Voided status link to view all voided transactions.
Find the transaction you want to resolve and select View next to it.
The Transaction Details page will open. Select Actions, then choose Mark Transaction Resolved.
Enter a reason for resolving the transaction.
For example: The transaction was deposited into the wrong account.Select Resolve.
After completing this step, the transaction will move from Voided status to Resolved status in the Current Transaction Summary.
